Winter walk

This is one of our favourite walks which loops round our village across the Fen.

I love it when it's just a light dusting of snow. You get so many wonderful contrasting colors against the white. Great set! Tue 1-Mar-2005 16:10

Norwich market

View all 11 photos...
Norwich has one of the oldest and largest permanemt out door markets in Europe. Although I knew that it was being refurbished this spring it was still a shock to see the bulldozers at work today. Luckily I had the little digital camera in my bag to take some shots. The first two are before shots taken last summer

you know, 30 years in england and i dont think i ever once went to norwich Thu 24-Feb-2005 08:47

hopefully that the new market will bring more profit to the vendors and more convenience to the customers

p/s - the recipe for the pizza was copied from an internet. I've never tried making pizza before and that's first attempt. Next time will try not to use dry basil Thanks for the input.

Photo challenge 60 - upside down

Weird or what??!

I love it! If this was on a flickr.com page, I'd mark it as a favorite. Very creative. Plus, now I don't feel so bad about posting the picture of the dead deer with the beer bottle. Sun 20-Feb-2005 04:04

We have lots of different ways of playing music all over the house but nothing beats this...!

Snap, crackle, pop. Mine are in a box down in the basement. I think I've replaced a lot of them with cd's...Cool set. Fri 11-Feb-2005 01:43

South Bank London August 2004

View all 12 photos...
It was one of those days where everything when right, the sun shone, the kids behaved and the wine was great! We were staying with friends in London and took a trip to the South Bank on a Sunday afternoon to do the usual tourist bit. Totally unplanned we found ourselves in the middle of the Coin Street festival - a celebration of South African culture, music, food and wine....

NICE. LOVE #2 My family came to Norfolk from London before I was born (and France before that) so I go back as much as possible...feel very at home there but always love to come back to our green fields! By coincidence both of Suzanne's parents are also from London so there's always somewhere to stay! Whenever I come home again I have to shift the 'barra boy' accent which comes on automatically when I'm down there. Strange how accents work... Wed 9-Feb-2005 13:29

Always a certain mysterious un-replicable quality in old photographs, like Vinyl over Compact Disc and reel-to-reel over cubase. Ho-hum! (Good result by the way! ) Mon 7-Feb-2005 15:28
